Sam joined the Murphy Lab in August of 2023 and has been the lead investigator on the 100 year old neuron project. He has also worked with Todd to develop the EL iPSC bank and he looks forward to seeing how both of these models will be implemented in the future. Sam has applied to PhD programs in Biomedical Science and hopes to begin his PhD in the fall of 2025, where he looks to continue studying aging biology.
In his free time, Sam enjoys playing baseball and doing cold plunges to increase his longevity.
